In LEED certification, there are 110 possible base points distributed across five major credit categories: Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Energy and Atmosphere, Materials and Resources, Indoor Environmental Quality, plus an additional 6 points for Innovation and an additional 4 points for Regional Priority.

Zero-waste

We’re proud to say that we achieve zero-waste status! This means that we divert >90% of our waste stream from the landfill. This is particularly impressive considering that some months, like August, are our busiest months, as we serve 300+ new Maryville College students during orientation.
